VAGO Atelier ("we," "our," or "us") operates the VAGO Atelier mobile application (the "App") and the VAGO Atelier website at www.vagoatelier.com (the "Website"), collectively referred to as our "Services." This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Services. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App or Website, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

When you create an account or use our services, we may collect:

  • Phone number
  • Delivery address (house/flat number, street, city, state, PIN code)
  • Profile photo (if provided via social login)

When you access the App, we may automatically collect:

  • Device information (model, operating system, unique device identifiers)
  • Push notification tokens (FCM tokens) for delivering notifications
  • App usage data, browsing behaviour, and interaction logs
  • Transactional data (order history, purchase values, product selections, cart activity)
  • IP address and approximate location (derived from IP)

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

If you sign in using Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from those services. We do not receive or store your social media passwords.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create, maintain, and secure your account
  • Process and fulfil your orders
  • Send order updates, shipping confirmations, and delivery notifications
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Send promotional notifications about new products, offers, and sales (you may opt out at any time)
  • Improve and personalise our App and services
  • Conduct internal business analysis, usage research, and service improvements
  • Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorised activity

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Technology Infrastructure Partner: Our application is developed and maintained by Sinlung Tech, our technology infrastructure partner. Data collected through your use of our Services — including account information, transactional data, and usage data — is managed and processed through Sinlung Tech's infrastructure. Sinlung Tech's handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
  • Service Providers: Our Services may utilise third-party providers for authentication, push notifications, cloud hosting, image delivery, and data storage as determined by our technology infrastructure partner. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
  • Delivery Partners: Your delivery address and contact number are shared with logistics partners to fulfil orders.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Order records are retained for a minimum of 5 years for accounting, tax, and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure cloud infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Request deletion of your account and personal data

7. Account & Data Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. You can do this by:

Upon receiving your request, we will delete your account and personal data within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to retain (such as order records for tax purposes).

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 9. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

10. Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. You can control notification preferences through your device settings at any time. Disabling push notifications will not affect in-app notifications.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the App or sending you a notification. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
